The first two photos are a model of Lehigh Valley Transit #C-5. I constructed this model with from help from my sons from the battered remains of an old Pittman kit I acquired at an East Penn meet a number of years ago. The finished model includes directional lighting and marker lights, and number of added details that are a combination of scratchbuilt and commercial parts. Prototype photos were used when applying a moderate coat of weathering to the finished model.

The next group of photos are of PST Co #85 which I have been building as time permits. The body shell was produced by Bronze Key Models in the late 1990s and is being finished to resemble how the car looked in the early 1940s. The prototype car is preserved at the National Capital Trolley Museum and some initial funds towards its future restoration have been provided by The Friends of Philadelphia Trolleys, Inc.

The last several photos show recent progress of my small O scale traction/On30 narrow gauge layout based off of the coastal areas of eastern Monmouth County, NJ. The recent work has been focused on construction the base of the cliff area which allows the trolley line to loop around a large lighthouse (not yet installed) and also hides a return loop for the narrow gauge line (disguised as a mine). Detailed scenery will follow completion of the supporting structure. My 14 year old son Andrew (seen in the last photo) shares in the layout construction with me.
