1997 East Penn Trolley Meet Photos

The following photos were taken at the May 1997 East Penn Trolley Meet in Pennsauken, New Jersey. (All photos by Gary Reighn.)

Approximately half of the 28,000 sq. ft. of floor space was devoted to the many dealers and manufacturers who attended.
Les Lewis' award winning O scale module depicting the entire frontage of Yale University.
A modified LaBelle interurban waits for passengers at the terminal station on Gary' Reighn's O scale module.
The fancy HO trackwork and beautiful scenery are the handiwork of Doug Cowperthwaite.
More HO modules, this time from Jack Spedden. Jack, who's models are known for their extra smooth running, gave a clinic on his techniques at the meet.
A connecticut car awaits passengers on Bill Brandt's O scale modules. Bill's modules utilize extra long legs to put the action right at the viewer's eye level.
Toronto #2760 (O scale) by Glenn Whitehouse was the first place winner in the meet theme contest: Steel Construction City Cars.
United Railways car #8127 (O scale) by Gayle Heron won second place in the Steel Constuction City Car theme contest.
Bob Dietrich's crane car won the HO slot in the popular model contest.
Jim Richards' LVT 1030 (1/2" scale) was the popular contest winner in the larger than O scale category.
